Our kids grow up so quickly and the little moments quickly pass. That is why I began the tradition of painting wooden eggs with my kids every year. Now they are 14 and 18, enjoy taking the walk down memory lane. When they were little, it was fingerprint eggs and they graduated to paint brushes. I do not include paint because my kids always loved selecting their own paint colors or even wrap with yard or other embellishments. My eggs do not have a flat bottom because I display the finished eggs in hurricane lamps or ceramic bowls for the holiday.
